Spiritual Growth The World Changers Equipping track has the objective of leading a person from the very beginning of their spiritual walk with Christ, to maturing in faith and in knowledge of scripture, to being able to share their faith with others, to starting and leading their own ministry. Alpha/ Holy Spirit Weekend The Alpha Course is a series of talks that gives a person an opportunity to learn about Christianity, and to ask anything they would like to ask about the faith. Christianity 101 "Why did Jesus come to Earth?", "How can I know for sure that I am saved? ", "What does it mean to submit my whole life to God?". These are some of the questions that are addressed in this course. If you are interested in becoming a member of Fruitful Vine Christian Church, this is the course to take! Break Free Weekend Are you struggling with problems or habits in your life that seem impossible to beat? The purpose of the retreat is to teach you how the power of Christ makes it possible to break free from any stongholds of sin in your life. This is a weekend retreat held a local retreat center (usually at Sacanadaga Bible Camp). Discipleship 201 Want to go deeper in your relationship with God? This course is designed for someone beginning their walk with Christ to help them grow and mature. A few of the issues discussed are "How to have a quiet time", "Why memorize scripture?", "Fasting", "How to truly repent of sin" Discovery Seminar God has given you special and talents and abilities! You have also had life experiences that make you unique in this world. Find out how to put all these things together and discover what God's plan is for you in the church and in your community. Leadership 301 Are you ready to step out in faith? Learn how to witness to others, defend your faith rationally, and to grow as a leader. Topics covered include "How to Answer the 'Big Ten' Ojections to the Gospel", "Why and How to Lead a Cell Group", "How to Grow as a Leader".
